We explain what a processor is and what it is made of. In addition, how the processors work and what are their stages.
What is a processor?
The processor is the brain of the system, it just processes everything that happens on the PC and executes all the actions that exist . The faster the processor a computer has, the orders that are given to the machine will be executed more quickly. This component is part of the hardware of many devices, not just your computer.
The processor is a silicon tablet that is placed in the socket on the motherboard inside the desktop computer cabinet, the difference in a laptop is that it is directly soldered. The processor is covered with something we call encapsulated, and of which there are 3 types: PGA, LGA and BGA.
The processor is one of the components of the computer that has evolved the most, given that engineers are required to offer better processors for computers to run faster and faster. It is effective. Its evolution has not only been internal, but also its external form was modified. The most popular PC processor manufacturers are Intel and AMD .
This component is the most important we could say, and generally the most expensive, but without the rest of the components it could not serve or act.

Components of a processor
A processor is composed of:
- Memory controller
- Graphic card
- Other auxiliary elements
How a processor works
The operation of the processor is determined by a clock that synchronizes all the functional blocks and ensures that everything goes as it should be or is programmed to be.
The operation has stages:
- Read the instruction from memory
- Search the data
- Perform the operation
- Go to the next instruction
